Toyota racing development badge baby 😎
Should’ve gotten a lift kit in my opinion, but it’s a nice truck either way.
It's on a 3 inch suspension lift (Dobinsons) with 35s
Hi, I did it step by step and everything was almost perfect. Now I have the 4WD light flashing on the panel. This situation has me worried because I don't touch, much less disconnect, anything. I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes and there were no changes. Any ideas or suggestions?
Did you make sure that the 4WD is in the off position? Did you check the harnesses on the transfer case? You may have knocked it loose
You are the best!
Haha... i wish I could afford all the things i want to buy for my truck.... but i don't see my self in debt...
I don't condone bad debt.. unless it's purchases from KFloTacoma haha
Do you torque the cam bolts after the truck is on the ground or while in the air?
17:15 - If you watch carefully. I compress the strut with the jack. It's the same effect as the truck on the ground. You want the strut in the compressed position
This is the way.
Great instructional video as usual. I have a question with regards to replacing the lower ball joints. Why are you replacing entire lower arm instead of just LBJ? Unless of course you need new bushings or some high end aftermarket arm.
I answer that in my LCA video (it's closer to the end of the video): ruclips.net/video/3D29XuFu5EM/видео.html
Hey so I did what you explained in this video and I still get nothing at all. Clutch is spinning and I’ve even replaced the blower motor resistor. What else can I look at?
check the pressures at the AC lines with this video ruclips.net/video/bSzH_9blVO4/видео.html
What a damn blast it was DESPITE the driveshaft quitting the chat 😂
Hell yea that was fun, bro! You managed to limp her back to the campsite at least. I just remembered having to drive home 4 hours with a blown motor mount and that was super sketchy 😂
What the proper line?? Uuuhhh, down
Straight line down is the shortest way down LOL
Pedal commander, low restrictive exhaust, oil air filter 👍go to a paper air filter off road
My heavy ass tacoma is faster than my audi
Is your Audi permanently parked? LOL
3rd gen. Pavement princess unfortunately
All good, brother. That truck will last you a long long time! Thanks for watching!

What a beautiful run and camp spot. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel, Kevin!
Love those land cruisers. Just epic vehicles.
I'm definitely psyched as I continue to work on the Land Cruiser. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
looks like some good wheeling. thanks for sharing.👍
NH was definitely a lot of fun! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Great content. Good angles. Cool vehicles. Rocks make me nervous. I try to avoid them unless i have a really good spotter.
Awesome! I'm glad you liked the video, thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Hey Kflo, another awesome video! I’m doing my bearings and can’t seem to figure out which seals go where. I ordered complete assemblies for both sides. Any chance you can help me figure out which seals I need to order, please? 🙏
Did all of these. Still not blowing cold air in this summer heat sucks 😅
Did you check my whole AC Playlist? You should definitely check out the AC Pressure check video next: ruclips.net/video/bSzH_9blVO4/видео.html
I always feel like I rip the shit out of my motorcycle when I go off road (it's an obese adventure bike, not a dirt bike), but damn, this is a hell of a lot more expensive than the motorcycle. I usually figure a 2 week trip of a few thousand miles will be somewhere between $250 and $500 in damage to the bike, but vehicle off road looks like an expensive hobby.
It's definitely not cheap but having the skills on repairs and the driving is very useful as that works nicely at breakdowns at the trails as well as overall truck maintenance. Off road driving is also as damaging or as easy depending on the trails you choose. Also, having the skills of repair means you don't have to pay as much to labor.
I have never heard anything positive about aftermarket CVs, especially with respect to the CV boots, on Toyotas. There's a big cost difference I realize, but given the time involved in replacement, it seems like false economy to use the lower cost product (the one linked above) over the OEM. I'm curious why you opted for the after market vs OEM. Do you find the OEM had poor longevity?
I'm harsher than most people with my truck. This aftermarket Cardone CV has held up about 70k miles and roughly 4 years. And i replaced them with the same ones. The salt spray in jersey is harsh. I would've just replaced the boots if the bearing surfaces weren't so rusty and pitted. With regards to the boots, it's actually not that difficult to replace the boots, u don't even need to take the whole CV off. Check out this video (ruclips.net/user/shorts5KImfLqT5Q0 ) once you remove it from the diff side you have access to replace the inner boots. It's usually the inner that gets chewed
Great video. You kind of have a rust bucket truck, which is pretty typical for most people. It's a lot more interesting because that's how the real world works, not just showroom trucks getting an aftermarket lift kit when they have 3000 miles on the odometer, and only being driven to Costco on weekends.
Lol thanks for the compliment. Reality is definitely different from the high bankroll shows about car upgrades. This channel has been a passion project, self funded and now I'm working on it as a lifestyle
This guy makes awesome videos.
This guy appreciates your kind words! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel
Appreciate the vid!! Did that Dayco belt hold up ? Im about to do it but the oem belt like $65 at toyota.
Still using that same belt up to now
Lols all the effort custom parts I’ve seen you build or fabricate to make this “Glamper” makes me believe normal camping is the luxury 😂😂
All the effort for as cool as possible LOL
Any updates on the CV axles? I did the same exact ones on my truck and after 2 months both inner boots are already leaking.
The old ones that came off were also Cardone HDs and they lasted me a few years. The ones that I currently have on are running solid. I would advise contacting the company and asking for a warranty replacement
Awesome ❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!
good job keep do it and thank you for your video
My 05 is having a similar issue. When i select 4 HI it locks the wheels and the truck will not move. Is the remedy for mine or am i experiencing something different? Thank you for your time.
420+ KM on my wife's '13. Thanks for your maintenance vids.
Awesome! I'm glad this channel has helped - thanks for watching and supporting our content!
liking and commenting to boost you in the algorithm 🫡
Haha thanks for liking and commenting bro!
Hell yeah. I just picked up a silver 2004 Xterra manual 5 speed 4wd a few weeks back
Awesome! Enjoy your time with it!
cheers bud, my dads 04 just hit 271k
Would this aftermarket resistor make the AC blow harder than the original even if still in good condition? AC works fine but always felt it lacked blowing strength on all levels
Wow!
Perfect, toyota doesn't honor warranty and quality has gonna way down. Replacing my 21 tacoma 56k miles ac compressor full bumper to bumper warranty, they want 2k dollars just to order it and outta stock with no ETA. Like everything else I'm doing it myself. Thought buying a new truck and toyota would keep me from doing stuff like this for few years. Toyota is junk now. Keep the old ones.
I watched your video again because those Power Stop K137 with rotors have already finished at 43,000 miles. My 09 Taco with 203,000 miles garage kept getting a lot of rust on the calipers on the inside. Also uneven wear not sure maybe the caliper is sticking.
Sounds like your caliper is doing just that. The piston seals may be seized and will need a rebuild. Brake dust does rust, even indoors or not. I still am using the powerstops even with my 35" tires and camper - still going strong. I did replace my front calipers though
@@KFloTacoma Thanks Bro appreciate ordering the K137 the complete set with calipers.
I keep wandering why all v6 5speed r so jerkey my bro tells me its bcause its too powerful.
Question about the mount setup and clearing the rear door. Where did you get the mounts? I am thinking of replacing my FIAMMA F45S on my Hawk, and this is possibly on my list as I’d like to have 270 coverage.
Ok, I saw your short video on the mounts. You fabricated them.
Will do n oh im already done.
Thanx again....
I have a 2007 Pre Runner with the smaller engine. I just started noticing this annoying clicking sound. At first, I thought one of my tires had picked up nail because the clicking sequence corresponded with one revolution of my tire while driving down the road. Checked all my tires and found nothing. Besides that, I could still hear the clicking when I pulled into my carport. Reving the engine would speed up the clicking to correspond with the RPMs. I then thought it might be the bearings going bad again on my tensioner pulley. Changed that out, still clicking. Oil levels is aways good on my truck so that's out too. Another thing I noticed is that my engine had to warm up before the clicking started so, I popped opened the hood as soon as I got home one day to try to find the source but it's nearly impossible to determine. I did notice that there was a similar clicking coming from the exact location you pointed out in your video. It's hard to differentiate due to all the other normal engine noises coming from the engine. I guess I'll have to break down and try your anti-click-hack. I know this is an old video and I'm not likely to ever get a reply but, since adding rubber washers takes up thread space on the bolt, would it be advisable to replace the OEM bolt with a slightly longer bolt?
thanks , for making this .
no filter change?
No filter in manual transmission
I read that on google after commenting. Thanks for verifying to. I just think one of these are going to be my next vehicle.
thank you for this video man! im hoping to replace my compressor this weekend!
Bro that ride must have been harsh af after that. You basically have two spacers in the front
My fiesta had exact same issue few years ago very common problem with those style resistors
Forgive the redundancy, but this video is what DIY video should be: absolutely clear and concise directions. Thank you for taking the time to produce this. Far better than the other recharge videos I watched. Time to DIY my Tacoma AC.
